Representation
Plunket & Falconer acts as the New Zealand representative for a number of overseas organisations including:
- Baltic Control (Aarhus) Ltd. An international inspection agency for verifying the condition/quantity of goods shipped/received, in compliance with international regulations and financial letters of credit.
- International Cargo Gear Bureau, Inc. An internationally recognized body for the inspection and certification of materials handling appliances, including shipboard cargo handling gear and shore based cranes.
- International Registry of Shipping. We are the New Zealand agent for vessels registered with a number of Flag States and are their recognized surveyors for statutory surveys and inspections.
- Norwegian Hull Club. Plunket & Falconer offers P & I representation for vessels covered by the Club.
- Panama Bureau of Shipping. We are the surveyors for statutory surveys.
- Panama Maritime Authority. We undertake accident investigation, and act as an authorized Safety Inspector.
- Tryg Vesta Club. Plunket & Falconer offers P & I representation for vessels covered by the Club.
